Another year of the Hospital Build seminar was held in Dubai on 2 – 4 June. The content of the seminar aims mainly at modern trends in design, construction, equipment and management of hospitals. Traditionally, the conference is connected with participation of many suppliers of materials, services and health care equipment. The MMM Group, being one of the leading suppliers of sterilisation in this field, has not missed this year as well. We exhibited in our own stand in the past, but this year we decided to participate in a common stand with our representative for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) including Oman, the company Al Mazroui Medical, with its registered seat in Dubai. The past three business days confirmed correctness of our decision. Our strong business partner from Saudi Arabia (SA) Attieh Medico Co. accepted again our invitation for participation in our stand – the company arrived to Dubai including the top management members, including Dr. Mohammed El Rass.
120 exhibitors participated in the exhibition last year, there were as many as 143 of them this year. The increased activity and growth of projects in the field of investments in health care industry in the Near East positively affected the interest and participation of visitors in the seminar. From our point of view, this Hospital Build reached the historically highest participation of professional public. Traditionally, most guests arrived from the Saudi Arabia and individual local emirates. The numbers of contacts and results of negotiations were evaluated as very valuable and interesting ones even by our main partners Al Mazroui, covering the area of the UAE and the company Attieh Medico operating in the SA. The range of guests included representatives and owners of small private hospitals, hospitals of various size under construction and employees of ministries of health care, preparing new projects. It was also possible to meet several current dealers and several potential business partners visited us as well. Together with partners from the UAE and SA we were visited by partners from Kuwait, Iran, Turkey, Jordan, Pakistan and Uganda.
