The Central Sterilization of Panocha Hospital in Turnov belongs now to the worksites that have reached – under the patronage of BMT Medical Technology s.r.o. – the quality system certificate according to EN ISO 9001 standard. The sterilization centre is not large at present but it has achieved the certificate in a region of great prestige, which has been manifested by an increased interest of external entities in sterilization of their medical devices. The Central Sterilization in Turnov thinks also of future extension to EN ISO 13485 standard.
