The traditional health care trade fair ARAB HEALTH 2015 was held in the trade fair centre in Dubai on January 26 – 29 this year. It was the jubilee 40th year and traditionally, the MMM Group exhibited in central hall No. 3 as well as in previous years. The trade fair confirmed again its position of the second most significant health care fair in the world with a tendency of further development. The current trade fair centre is not able any more to accept in a professional manner all the exhibitors interested in presentation at the trade fair. That is why the trade fair should move to new premises current being built for that purpose in the forthcoming years.
As well as in previous year, a meeting with dealers of our Saudi Arabian partner Attieh Medico was held one day before the trade fair opening. The aim of the meeting was to train dealers of our most important independent business partner in sales of washing disinfectors of MMM GmbH.
This year, the stand of the MMM Group presented the devices Unisteri HP manufactured by BMT and Selectomat PL and Uniclean PL II manufactured by MMM. The offer was completed with the system for documentation of sterilization processes Ecosoft and exhibition panel of the steam sterilizer Sterivap HP.
It was mainly the business partner from Saudi Arabia who arranged high visitors’ rate at the stand of the MMM Group. Thanks to strong position in the market, active work of the company Attieh Medico and professional service of our devices, the MMM Group products are deservedly considered in Saudi Arabia to be the top in the field of sterilization engineering quality available on global level. And as it would not be possible to reach such a position without support from the side of our local partner, the company Attieh Medico well deserved and with great lead reached the several times in line over title of the most successful foreign partner in 2014.
We welcomed many visitors from the United Arab Emirates together with numerous groups of visitors from Saudi Arabia at the stand. The rich country with low number of inhabitants is – thanks to its specific position of a business centre – for the Near East in the centre of interest of all the important companies engaged in manufacture of sterilization equipment. Mainly due to extremely low prices offered by our competitors, we did not succeed to reach higher sale volumes in that country in recent years. As from the start of March 2015, the sale of steam sterilizers in the sales department of our local partner should be supported which should improve our position in that market.
There were also interesting negotiations with other business partners of MMM Group from Jordan, Egypt, Iran or Pakistan. This year could be really promising in sales in India, offering significant potential regardless the fact that local market is dominated by local companies offering cheap sterilization equipment of poor quality. Thanks to the market size and better openness of Indian clients towards foreign products of higher quality, activities of our business partner and the number of projects demanding equipment manufactured in compliance with international standards, India moves on and on in the list of countries that should create a pillar of our business activities.
Even though the Dubai trade fair was similar to the last one as far as the number of visitors is concerned, it undoubtedly won in quality of contacts obtained and meetings held.
