In the end of the previous year, BMT in co-operation with the company Merci succeeded to finish realisation of specialised work site in the newly developed complex of buildings of the Theoretical Institutes and the Institute of Molecular and Translation Medicine of the Palacky University in Olomouc.
There were supplied technologies from the range of thermal engineering, small steam sterilisation and large steam sterilisation in the value of several million Czech crowns. Not only students, but scientific employees of the Faculty of Medicine, Palacky University, will maximally use the new buildings of the Theoretical Institutes and the Institute of Molecular and Translation Medicine. The total volume of investment costs related to the construction and technologies reached approximately 3 mld. CZK.
The modern building of the Theoretical Institutes was built in only 19 months. The object houses the institutes of general and dental medicine, pathologic anatomy and forensic medicine, medical microbiology, medical immunology, medical biology, histology and embryology. The laboratories include the area of more than 3 000 square meters, class rooms over 4 000 square meter and libraries take some 900 square meters.
There are available four large theatres and twelve specialised class rooms. The building has six over ground floors with total area of 16 354 square meters. This is another realised project belonging to significant references obtained by the company BMT Medical Technology s.r.o. in the field of education and research in the territory of the CR.
